Franchise History: Top Grammy nominated Gospel/Jazz Musician and Producer extrardinaire- Ben Tankard and his partner Dr Aldrich Perry, DDS founded the Murfreesboro Musicians in May 2005 and are "tuning up" for the 2006 inaugural summer season.

Tankard, who is a former college and pro player, uses his music skills to assist the NBA in player development by working with the player programs division.

Dr Perry who is a successful dentist, is a former High School and College Basketball stand out.

Both partners have a love for God, family, their community and the game basketball. They desire to win in every area of life and develop a winning attitude in the players, fans, and the community.
