Conyers Court Kings bring the WBA Exposure League to Conyers, GA

Conyers, Georgia is a proud home of minor league basketball. The Conyers Court Kings enter their third season playing in the emerging WBA Exposure League. The Court Kings' owners, locals Thomas Gates, Jr. and Curtis Richardson, couldn't be more thrilled about using this opportunity to better their community. "Combining our experience in business with our love and passion for the sport, gives us the avenue to educate and help develop our youth of today and tomorrow. The WBA Exposure League in conjunction with Top Notch Sports & Entertainment, an authorized Agency for the KBL Korean Basketball League, Presents the WBA Exposure league’s “Big Man Tryout Camp” for talented hoop stars 6’8 and over. This colossal tryout camp will be held Sunday May 31st at the Decatur Gymnasium in Decatur, GA from 1pm-7pm. Former Rome Gladiators head coach Harold Ellis has been hired to serve as assistant coach with the NBA Detroit Pistons. Ellis was hired by new Detroit Pistons coach Michael Curry. Ellis coached the Gladiators to their second consecutive league title. He earned coach of the year honors in the process for the second straight time and led the club to a 42-6 mark during that span. Mayas-USA exacted revenge on their cross-state rival Texas Tycoons on Sunday, defeating the Tycoons 109-105. The Tycoons had defeated the Mayas 147-133 two nights earlier in Dallas but this time the Mayas got even. Behind 31 points from Daryl Dorseyand a big game of 17 points and 17 rebounds from Reo Logan, the Mayas made the plays down the stretch to pull out a tough home win.
