The WBA, which recently completed its second year of play, is being well represented on summer league rosters through out the NBA.

Rome Gladiator Edmund Saunders (203-F/C-78, college: Connecticut), along with Gulf Coast Bandit players Terrence Simmons (193-G) and George Leach (210-C-81) of Gulf Coast Bandits have been named to the Charlotte Bobcats summer league roster that will be competing in the Rocky Mountain Revue.

Also, Rome Gladiator players Shawnson Johnson (206-F/C) and Kitwana Rhymer (208-C-78, college: Massachusetts) have been selected to play with the Atlanta Hawks summer league entry, along with Lamont McIntosh (189-G-82, college: Georgia St.) and Josh Powell (206-F-83, college: N. Carolina St.), who both played with the Southern Crescent Lightning last season in the WBA.

Ezra Williams (193-G-80) of Great Lakes Storm, who also played with in the WBA last season, has been placed on the Seattle Supersonics. Former Rome Gladiator Cheyne Gadson (193-G-80, college: Oklahoma St.) is with the New York Knicks summer league team, as is former Kentucky Reach player Lamar Rice (201-F-82, college: Georgetown, KY).

Harvey Thomas (204-F-82, college: Baylor), from the Rome Gladiators, is currently with the Los Angeles Clippers summer league team participating in the Las Vegas Summer League. Kyle Davis, who was also with the Gladiators last season in the WBA, is on the San Antonio Spurs summer league roster.

Marlon Parmer (191-G-80, agency: Larry Fox Services, college: Ky Wesleyan), who played in the WBA with the Bristol Crusaders and Tunica Gamblers, is with the Miami Heat summer league team. Timmy Bowers (188-G-82) of Gulf Coast Bandits, of the Gulf Coast Bandits, is currently with the Phoenix Suns, as fellow Bandit teammate Dawid Przybyszewski. Also, Cleveland Majic player, Steve Thomas (203-F-81) of Cleveland Majic, toured China with the New Jersey Nets recently.
