Does the WBA provide its franchisees with a protected territory?

Absolutely. The WBA is one of only a few franchisers that provide each franchisee with protected city or area boundaries, in which other WBA locations may not be developed.

Are franchisees required to have a sports background or experience?

No. The WBA helps walk you through a great deal of the initial set up process. You will have to negotiate your arena lease, develop a working relationship with your local city, vendors and advertisers. Our corporate office will handle national sponsorship opportunities; events, promotions as well as help you develop relationships with advertisers and government officials within your city. We will train you in every aspect of running the business. Some of the topics of training include:

Sales Training, and Sales Staff Recruiting
Management training
Advertising Sales Processes, Lead Generation for sponsors
Billing, and office systems training
Hiring Coaches, Referees and Sales/Marketing personnel

What type of support can I expect as a new franchisee with the WBA?

Do you provide any type of training?

Yes! We provide a three-day intensive classroom training for the owner/operator, two days for the owners and one-day that includes the sales representative(s).

During this 3 day course, you will learn the day to day operations, how to seek out the types of clients the WBA prides itself on, what to look for and how to recruit your sales representatives, office manager, coaches and other personnel.
