The first World Basketball Association regular season is over and the all-star selections are in with Mario Austin of the Jackson Rage getting the top selection as the Player of the Year. Austin (6’11, 265-C-F/Miss.St) led the league all season in scoring (22.9ppg) and rebounding (10.1rpg) had a consistent season leading the Rage to the first WBA Regular Season Championship with a 16-4 record.
